Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Commetinc ("Commetinc", "we", "us", or "our") provides a service that forwards new comments on your Instagram posts to your Telegram channel or group in real time, using the official Instagram Graph API. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use and store it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can access or delete it.

By connecting your Instagram account to Commetinc and using the service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to operate the service. Specifically:

2.1 Instagram data

• Account identifiers: your Instagram user ID and username of the professional (Business or Creator) account you connect.
• Access token: an OAuth access token issued by Instagram when you authorize the connection. We store this token so we can access the Instagram Graph API on your behalf to receive comments.
• Public comments on your posts: for each new comment under your posts, we process the comment text, the username of the person who left the comment, the associated media/post ID, and the timestamp.

We do not collect, read, or store your Instagram Direct messages (private messages). We do not collect or store your Instagram password — authorization happens entirely on Instagram's side through the official login (OAuth), and your password is never shared with us.

2.2 Telegram data

• Chat identifier: the chat ID (chat_id) of the Telegram channel or group where you want comments delivered, so we can forward comments to the correct destination.

3. How We Use Data

We use the data described above for a single purpose: to forward new public comments on your Instagram posts to your chosen Telegram channel or group. In practice this means we use your access token to receive comment notifications through the Instagram Graph API, and we use your Telegram chat ID to deliver those comments to you.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering comments to you.

4. Data Storage & Security

Access tokens and the association between your Instagram account and your Telegram destination are stored in our database on a server located in the European Union (Germany). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect this data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including restricted server access and encrypted (HTTPS) connections for all data in transit.

Comment content is processed in order to be delivered to your Telegram; we do not build a long-term archive of your comments beyond what is necessary to operate and troubleshoot the service.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not disclose your data to third parties for their own purposes. Your data is used solely to provide the Commetinc service to you.

The only external platforms involved are those you explicitly connect to: Instagram/Meta (the source of the comments, via the official Graph API) and Telegram (the destination where comments are delivered). Data flows between these platforms and Commetinc strictly to make the forwarding function work. We may disclose data if required to do so by law or valid legal process.

6. Data Retention

We retain your access token and account/destination association for as long as your account remains connected and you continue to use the service. When you revoke access or request deletion (see Section 7), we delete your access token and associated data from our systems. Comment data that is only forwarded is not retained beyond what is operationally necessary.

7. How to Delete Your Data / Revoke Access

You are in control of your data at all times. You can stop Commetinc from accessing your Instagram account and request deletion of your data in either of the following ways:

• Revoke access on Instagram: open the Instagram app or website, go to Settings → Apps and Websites, find Commetinc, and remove it. This immediately revokes our access token so we can no longer receive comments from your account.
• Request data deletion by email: send a request to support@onotole.uz from the email associated with your account, asking us to delete your data. We will delete your stored access token and account/destination association from our database and confirm the deletion.

Once you revoke access and/or your deletion request is processed, we remove your access token and the link between your Instagram account and your Telegram destination from our systems.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of that data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@onotole.uz.

9. Platform Compliance

Commetinc uses the official Instagram Graph API and operates in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies and Instagram's terms and policies. We only request the permissions required to deliver comments to your Telegram, and we handle Instagram data in line with the platform's data-use requirements.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
